The queen looked out
on all he had done
in service to her beauty
she smiled and said:
“Now you are one of mine,
so kneel before me
and pledge your fealty
to my throne.”
The low growl she heard
her only warning
his jaw closing
around her throat
as the teeth
were sinking home
her blood hit his mouth
hot and wet
he said: “I am still a wolf
and I will never be a pet.”
